Just because the world is falling apart doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Music is always one of those things that makes people smile even when everything else is a disaster. DJ Fossil Fool has been using his bike-powered sound system to entertain peoplefor what has to be over 13 years now. Back in 2008 it was novel. Now it’s really the only way we can have an amplified public performance. The local members of pedal.ic.ious had a great time. When we weren’t pedalling to keep the music going we were pulling together more care packages of the food we’ve been growing in the back of the abandoned Wal-Mart Garden Center (we moved in here five years ago and have turned it into our bike shop/warehouse/home/farm) to distribute throughout the city of New San Francisco.
